Who are you trusting? I have laid back in the cut for the past four weeks listening to the news in regards to the coronavirus. I’ve been watching the Facebook posts and I’m finding that a lot of people are very worried about what’s going on.
First, I believe more people are beginning to see that our country is lacking leadership drastically. Allow me to make my political observation for just a moment.
Donald Trump is not this country’s main problem. The problem is the Republican Party allowing him to do the most hurtful things to this country, and its citizens.
The Democrats need to stop arguing with the president and start holding the Republicans accountable for their inability to support the country in which they all vowed to protect and that’s all I have to say about that.
That being said, in the middle of a global pandemic, people who claim to be religious individuals, are surely demonstrating a lack of faith in anything, let alone God.
Anyone who knows and believes in God knows that God is in control always. The key is for every individual who knows that, to act on it. Trusting that God is in control and believe that he will carry you through.
So the question is, Who are you Trusting?
The news media that’s showing you the actual numbers of the sick and the dying.
Face book where you can actually see Facebook friends in the hospital, actually dying alone because of this disease.
Or maybe you know someone close to you who has actually caught it and died from it.
And in times like these, the question of, Why why Lord, why me, why us, why now.
We all ask why, but asking why is only evidence of our lack of faith and trust in God.
Know that God is in control of everything. Knowing that gives you the strength and the faith to get through anything.
Trust in God. You have to know him, to trust him. And that’s all I have to say about that.
Smoke that over.
