I am rubber and you are glue everything you say to me bounces off me and sticks to you. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Most of us who are old enough to know better remember these sayings. We were told by our parents to remember this words to help keep us out of trouble and fights, At least I was.
It seems that with today’s social media advances we’ve become more cynical, mean, self-serving, disrespectful and irresponsible with the words that come out of our mouths And even more so with the words we put into print.
Social media has allowed us to say whatever we think we need to say to someone, no matter how much it hurts someone. We in society today are gradually losing our morality and our humanity, this has to stop. No longer can we go on willy-nilly just saying and doing whatever we feel like to hurt someone, simply because we feel it necessary.
So let’s check ourselves before we wrecked ourselves. Let’s start treating people like human beings. Let’s start treating people the way we want to be treated and monitor our conversations on social media.
If it is not nice, kind has good intentions, uplifting, inspiring, motivating, spoken with genuine love, let’s not say it. Smoke That Over. I Am Human. R U?
