February 2021 and we’ve just completed another so called Black History Month. I know that one could Google the origins of Black History Month and we could get the definitions, the times and dates, the creators and the founders.

I’m sure they will tell you that it’s all about remembering. Remember those who did something. Remember what happened to those who did something. Remember when this happened to us. Remember when we couldn’t do or could not go. Remember how we were treated. Remember how we  were forced to work as slaves and remember how we were taken away from our homeland?  BLACKLAND.

Blackland, you know! Where black people are from.

Where our culture lies. Where our values lie. Where the history of our forefathers lie. Where the recipes and traditions are passed down to the next generation. Where the teaching of survival skills for young men are.

The Teaching of how to build, how to fish, how to hunt, how to think. The educating of all its people to assure a healthy future race of  its citizens . The promoting of good values that’s based on truth, honesty And our creator’s commandments. Throughout the land for all families .

The teaching of farming and agriculture to help promote a healthy land and race of people.

The educating of its citizens in science and math, to assure that the communities in the future will continually prosper.

Blackland, that’s my home. That’s where I am from. It’s located Right in the middle of Wauconda. A paradise. It has blue skies, fresh air, clean water, beautiful trees, flowers and plants. The earth is filled with precious minerals and resources .

Black land is located right in the middle of Wauconda.  Wauconda is located on the continent of ????? That’s right, Wauconda is not real. Neither is Blackland.

Answer These questions for yourself.

Where do Russians come from? Where do Germans come from? Where do Mexicans come from? Where do Japanese people come from? Where do Chinese people come from ?

Where do Africans come from? Where do Australians come from? Where do Hungarians come from? Where do Pakistanis come from ? Where do Somalian’s come from? Where do Egyptians come from?

Black is a color not a place of origin. And as quiet as it’s kept, most people of color are not black. Even people with darker black skin, know that they come from places like Ethiopia or maybe even Somalia. A place of origin to identify themselves not their skin color.

Find your real Place of origin  and true history and you will find Your real origin and who you really are.

  1. The point about Blackland is true and compelling. With a history that has been decimated and thousands of ancestral connections broken, the quest to find ones true history would be arduous at best. However, not impossible. It requires financial resources and time to locate those long dead connections. Is it worth it? Could our time and financial resources be better spent developing ourselves and one another in the here and now? Remembering and having the understanding that a great deal of history and connections to our ancestry has been lost. But we also know our connection to one of the greatest lineages, Jesus’ line is real and strong. It trumps any other connection to our past we may have. Does it suck not to know our ancestors and what they did and who they were? YES! But in the end, people are people. The great things they do and the horrible things, we can claim because we are all people made in God’s image. I am human. We all are. There’s a connection.

    1. You are so correct my sister… The finances ate required… But why? To keep us from what? They hold the data…our data…and then charge us to gain access to our own data…why?

Like all knowledge aquired institutionally there is a $ price… It has always been that way for US… Why?

  2. Nice one brother. These questions run through my mind a lot lately, especially since ma went home.

  3. It is tragic that black people have been stripped of their true history and heritage. In this there is opportunity to create a heritage. We can choose to embody goodness and truth and wisdom and love. Our children can begin to tell stories about us. We can decide today to build our own history and leave a legacy for the next generation. We can begin to speak our stories to our children and grandchildren. History begins now.
