Prince Harry and his wife, Rachel Megan Markle have recently been in the news for stepping away from the throne. Prince Harry fell in love with a woman of color from the United states. If one would use their imagination, you could imagine all the drama and stress a relationship such as this would stir up in a Royal family.
The Royals, those who are of pure blood, so to speak. Those who can trace their bloodline back for generations. The idea of tracing back your bloodline is the best way to determine where you originated from.
The idea of mixing blood was always considered a no, no. Unless, you were mixing up, not mixing down. Now, we can’t say that the Queen didn’t consider Harry’s choice as marrying down. But we do know that she would have much preferred him to marry up, or at least a lateral move.
