I am not sure with just a few days of Arctic like temperatures ranging in the double negative digits that any of us are really suffering from cabin fever. Here in the Midwest with temperatures as low as 21° below zero and with a wind chill factor of 50° below zero, we are experiencing emergency safety conditions.

Schools and businesses are remaining closed. Emergency weather reports warning it’s citizens to remain inside and be mindful of the homeless, the elderly and pets.
With a large majority of people staying home we are hardly suffering from cabin fever with all of our social media outlets, entertainment choices, personal in-home exercise equipment and video streaming devices.
We just recently came off of a government shutdown that closed the government for 33 days, which had tens of thousands of people off work sitting at home wondering when their next paycheck would come. “I guess a workman isn’t worthy of his hire if he works for the government.”
If he works in the present administration. The unscheduled time spent at home should have given us some time for ourselves, an unscheduled rebooting for ourselves. Catch up on some me time.
Time to just take a deep breath, exhale and reflect on how God has been to us. Pray for some wisdom, patients, forgiveness and give thanks.
This would’ve been a great time to do that for yourself. But we’ve allowed all our social media and streaming devices to rob us of some well needed me time.
Cabin fever is what we say when we’ve been alone with no one to talk to or communicate with and usually there are some extreme conditions for a significant amount of time.
Maybe we should all experience a little cabin fever.
Smoke that over. I Am Human R.U?
