Jussie who is a young African-American gay man, chose to manipulate an already imperfect system for personal satisfaction and added popularity.
I like many who heard this story had my doubts from the beginning but chose to hold my tongue before commenting; which in this case turned out to be a wise decision.
I just shook my head in total disappointment. This is unacceptable on all levels. So what do we do? The truth is out now. What have we learned? People, we sometimes are too quick to judge, to impatient to listen, too prideful to understand and to selfish for forgiveness.
Jussie will now pay the ultimate price for his deceitfulness. The popularity that he had, he may lose. The great job opportunities that he had, he may lose them also.
He is already being judged in the court of public opinion and social media. Crying Wolf on social media is a hard lesson to learn but a lesson learned.
