There are many definitions of a father, the simplest definition is, a male parent. In today’s times we have so many terms for things that you need a dictionary as well as an urban dictionary to determine what someone is talking about. Baby daddy has been associated with fathers, and let me tell you this there is a difference.
Fathers are the men that understand the responsibility that comes with having a baby. A father knows, That a baby will need to be cared for, loved, provided for, protected, nurtured, and raised to be an upstanding moral human being, that’s a benefit to society and itself.
Baby daddies run from all their responsibility and denied the baby’s existence. Fathers know that they may have to sacrifice time, talent, and treasures for their children. Baby daddies quit their job to avoid paying child support, but yet they hang around the baby’s mama to leach off of her government supplemental income.
Fathers know that they may have to work two jobs as well as further their education to better prepare themselves to take care of their children. Baby daddies spend their time in the strip club making it rain, while preparing to meet their new baby mama.
Fathers walked their kids to and from school, to the park, take their kids to the library, after school programs, museums, on vacations, baseball and basketball games, and are there when they need them just to talk. Baby daddies walk their pit bulls in the park while looking for their new baby mama.
Fathers do without luxury items so that they can provide what’s needed for their children. Baby daddies wear $400 sneakers, $600 fresh gear, and buy $2,400 24 inch rims for their $200 car.
Fathers teach their kids how to be respectful and the value of working for a living and the value of respect for others and themselves. Baby daddies go on the Maury Povich and Jerry Springer show to deny that they had any relationship with the baby mama, while looking for their new baby mama and aren’t around to teach their kids anything.
Fathers of little girls are around to let them know what’s tasteful to wear to school and in public, They are there to be the examples of the man they would want to be with when they get old enough. Little girls of Baby daddies sometime find themselves on the pole dancing because that’s where their daddy met their mama, while meeting their new baby mama.
True fathers know that being a father is a full time job. It’s 24/7/365 days a year and then some. True fathers do what real fathers do. They do the job. No thanks required. No pat on the back, just being a father.
Be the man and be a father to your kids or somebody else’s, it doesn’t matter, all kids need a father.
