If you know anything about Chicago and Englewood, you know we have our own story. Good or bad, we own it all. Today, we own some of the good.
An Englewood staple has completed his purpose—George Malcolm Eskridge, a Christian man who stood on his values and on his square. He was an example in the Englewood community of what a young man could aspire to be.
An honorably discharged Army veteran, a husband, a father, a business owner in the Englewood community, and a father figure to many, George was a pillar of strength and wisdom. We honor the man by continuing his work—helping our fellow man, our fellow human being.
George will be remembered among other greats such as Harold Washington, Huey P. Newton, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., Jesse Jackson, and Job, just to name a few. Be a part of the few.
The wisdom of George Malcolm Eskridge will free the minds of all those who heed it.
