He was a film director and a diplomat, who stared in the 1967 Academy Award winning movie called Guess Who’s coming to dinner.
Sidney Poitier stared in many outstanding roles that had super, amazing and iconic lines. I’m sure that I wasn’t alone, when I heard the news of his passing, on January 6, 2022. It saddened me as well. It’s strange what reminds you of someone, A smell, a smile, a question.
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? was the first thing I thought of when I heard the sad news. Sidney Poitier left us a plethora of good reminders of his contributions to humanity. Invite a friend to a dinner and a movie.
